To promote learning through quality teaching, in a caring, disciplined school environment, in the local community and further afield.

This is interpreted in the following four Aims.

1. To promote learning in all its aspects:

• Physical;
• Cognitive;
• Emotional;
• Moral;
• Spiritual.

2. To provide quality teaching:

• based on knowledge of how learning takes place;
• facilitating learning to learn;
• developing thinking skills;
• which stimulates and challenges.

3. To provide a caring disciplined school environment:

• where the individual is cherished;
• where there exists relationships based on mutual respect;
• where rights are matched with responsibilities;
• where each individual can feel secure.

4.  To use the local community and other places outside the school campus as:  

• resources and a context for learning and teaching, as well as contributing to their development and improvement.
