Christmas Raffle

Dear Parents, Guardians, Friends and Supporters,
After much academic success in our latest GCSE results and as one of the best performing non-selective schools in the region, we are writing to request your support in further improving the learning environment for our pupils. We wish to forge stronger links with local businesses and are requesting your assistance with our Christmas raffle.
Following our successful relaunch on 31st August we have now planned some additional work to further enhance our school environment and we are fully committed to repainting and refurbishing our library. In order to raise crucial funds, we are planning a Christmas raffle and we would be most grateful if your business would be interested in making a donation. We would provide advertising opportunities for your business via Facebook, our school website and school newsletter in return.
If you can support us in our endeavour by offering an item for the Christmas raffle, please contact me by 9th November on 02897 562424.
Thus far we have £50 Millbrook Hotel gift vouchers, a weekend stay in a self-catering property in Donegal and a beauty hamper worth over £100.
We hope you will assist us in enhancing the learning environment for our pupils and we greatly appreciate your support and generosity.
Thank you very much.
Yours faithfully,
Mrs Sharon Jess
Senior Teacher/Head of English

Principal's Welcome

Welcome to the website of The High School Ballynahinch.

It will give you detailed information about the school in general and also about current activities.pmarks principal

We are dedicated to the promotion of learning through high quality teaching in a caring, disciplined school environment as well as in the local and wider communities.

The needs of pupils are central to our school. We aim through a broad curriculum involving co-operation with local schools and other providers to offer an extensive portfolio of subjects suitable for a wide range of abilities. Sport has an important role to play in helping pupils develop their many and diverse talents.

There is an excellent pastoral programme committed to ensuring that pupils feel valued.

Through the pastoral system parents and pupils can call on assistance to deal promptly with any issues they may have. The small size of the school and its semi-rural location contribute significantly to the success of the pastoral system.

The Staff and pupils are supported by a skilful Board of Governors who encourage the school to be a stimulating and high achieving organisation.

If you have any questions after using our website please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Mr. P. Marks
